Kingdom Property  Pattaya Thailand was established in 1994 as a property services company. In 2009 Nigel J. Cornick acquired a shareholding in the company with the intent to use his extensive real estate experience to invest directly into development opportunities of which Southpoint in Pattaya is the first condominium project.

Southpoint will be built on a four rai freehold plot in the Pratumnak area, an increasingly popular location just south of Bali Hai in Pattaya City, an area currently undergoing a major transformation including the development of a new marina. Project financing has been secured from Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited. Southpoint, which will be opening for pre sales in the third quarter of 2012, will have a project value of THB2 billion with completion scheduled for 2015.

The Kingdom Property team brings together a formidable assortment of real estate, tourism and travel industry experience and entrepreneurial flair, united behind the unerring vision and leadership of Nigel Cornick. Southpoint is just the beginning.

Nigel Cornick

Kingdom Property Chief Executive Officer and major shareholder, Nigel Cornick's real estate career spans three continents and more than 40 years. He has extensive experience in valuation, property management, development and asset management. More than this, he has distinguished himself with an unerring vision to see ahead to where real estate's next success stories will be located, and the leadership ability to bring them to fruition.

Early in his career, Nigel served in executive positions for IBM's joint venture in Saudi Arabia, major Japanese developer Daikyo, and Lend Lease, Australia's most prominent real estate developer, before moving to Thailand in 1991 to open Collier Jardine's Bangkok office.

In 1996 Nigel was appointed General Manager of property developer, Raimon Land PLC, and during the 1997 Asian financial crisis, he was responsible for restructuring the bankrupt company, a task he successfully completed in 2001, when he was appointed CEO.

From 2001 until 2009, under Nigel's leadership, Raimon Land became recognized as Thailand's leading developer of high-end residential condominiums in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. On leaving Raimon Land, Nigel had established a pipeline of projects valued at over THB40 billion. He was the driving force behind Pattaya landmarks Northshore and Northpoint, Phuket luxury development The Heights and Kata Gardens, The Lakes in Bangkok, as well as Bangkok icons-in-the-making The River and 185 Rajadamri.

An impressive collection of awards are testament to Mr Cornick's development credentials. During his tenure as Raimon Land CEO, the company was presented with the Best Developer Award for an unprecedented two years in a row (2007 and 2008), while also picking the Thai Property Awards' Best Condo Development and Best Development Website (two years in a row) and CNBC Asia Pacific Property Awards' Best Developer Website Thailand for The River. Northpoint in Pattaya received an award at the International Property Awards in London in 2007 and won the Best Condo Development (Eastern Seaboard) at the Thai Property Awards 2008.

Mr Cornick has also been unstinting in his far-reaching Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, sponsoring numerous projects that assisted the underprivileged, initiating a carbon offset programme and raising the profile of the arts, while using sports to increase the profile of Thailand. He has overseen the construction of homes for the Human Development Foundation's Mercy Centre and Habitat for Humanity Thailand, supported the Nai Lert Park Flower Show for The Kidney Foundation of Thailand, a Royally-endorsed programme, established a tree nursery in Khao Yai operated by the Plant-A-Tree-Today Foundation, sponsored Royal Over-Seas League Thailand Young Artist and Musician competitions, and provided educational programs and schools for children of construction workers. He also was a key supporter of Phuket's King's Cup Regatta, Phuket Raceweek and Pattaya's Top of the Gulf Regatta, as well as major golf tournaments, the Bangkok International Rugby Tens and an annual Elephant Polo Tournament in northern Thailand.

After a three-year stint as CEO of global full service real estate management company Binswanger Brooker, Nigel has taken up the reins at Kingdom Property which will focus on building a real estate portfolio in Pattaya in its initial development plans.
